Greetings Dear Friends
This is my favorite time of year - fresh leaves on the trees, pink and purple blossoms everywhere - beautiful! Thanx to those who came to the Big Shift Support Group - we had a great discussion and sharing of the ways in which we are being affected by the shifting energies of our time. We may hold another similar gathering in the fall.
Jennis is moving into a very busy season, which includes a western tour for a month this summer, starting in mid-June. See details below. Before we go, we're playing in Guelph on June 4th - we'd love to see you there.
This month's article is about a big 'energy opportunity' that is coming to Earth this summer, called the Third Wave. In the next newsletter we will continue with the series - 'Chakras and the Tree of Life' - seeking an understanding of the way that we humans interface with the vibrational universe.

THE THIRD WAVE

A lot of channeled information these days is suggesting that the planet is about to enter the 'third wave'. What does that mean? How will this affect us - the residents of this planet?
As we proceed with this process called the 'big shift', the transformational cosmic energies with which we interact tend to come in waves. For example, a huge wave arrived back in the sixties when a significant portion of human consciousness became concerned with peace and love, questioning authority, etc. One could say that the energies were inviting us to change in this way. Some chose to accept this invitation, and others did not.
In more recent times, other waves of energy have invited human consciousness to change. With the 'first wave', some of us who may have been seeking a more meaningful life were invited to find some form of spiritual guidance/wisdom. Many of us found gurus, doctrines or teachings with which we resonated. There was a definite trend in this direction. In the quest for answers, some delved into religions, discovered eastern philosophies, explored mystical traditions like Wicca, Tarot, I-Ching, astrology, etc.
The 'second wave' invited us to be our own gurus, to look within for answers. Many people decided to cast off their old roles or relationships, seeking to live lives that were more meaningful and fulfilling. They sought to better know their true selves, to live more authentically. More and more people started seeing through the veils of deception, questioning the institutions and authorities, demanding truth and fairness. An increasing number of people began to see that we are not hapless victims, that our very consciousness has power.
The 'third wave' is now inviting us to have an even clearer idea of the true nature of reality. Now that we have discovered our 'true selves', we are being invited to realize that the whole concept of 'self' is part of the grand illusion. Yes, we are individuals but we are also a part of a bigger whole. We all have 'stories', both past and present, that we have used to define ourselves. We have identified ourselves with our roles, careers and self-images. The third wave invites us to see that we are much more than those stories and roles and to let go of them - to stop wearing them as a badge or name-tag.
The third wave invites us to realize that the three-dimensional reality that we share is but a thin veneer, beyond which lies a greater reality. We will increasingly understand that this thin veneer is pliable, that we create it from moment to moment with our collective consciousness. We will increasingly use the power of our wills - our conscious intentions - to bring about great change. We are powerful.
Some of us will accept the invitation of the third wave, others will not. What will you do?
