Faith Forum   Tuesday, September 19, Faith Forum will conclude its two week course  "The Apocalypse!"  Pastor Justin Spurlock will guide our study of "The Book of Revelation", it's rich theological and spiritual symbols, the many misunderstandings and quack ideas that abound in our culture about it, and the ways we might find inspiration in this ancient text.  All are welcome.  Please join us from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Fireside Chapel.

JOYS:

During Marge Lillie's last week, she and Jim received an envelope in their mail box.  It was evident the sender wished to remain anonymous.  Inside was a card that said "Dear Jim and Marge.  Your beautiful smiles have often warmed me when I had no smile of my own.  Please accept this little gift knowing you are not alone and you are loved."   A cash gift was included.  To the anonymous one(s), many, many thanks.   Jim Lillie

Harvey Relief effort was a real joy.  Under Barb Rudolf's guidance, her team put together 193 Flood Buckets and 535 Hygiene Kits.  They loaded up the trailers on Wednesday and headed for Salt Lake Thursday morning.  Barb and Jim will be working at UMCOR for several days before heading home. Also thanks to 1st Presbyterian of Littleton, Wellshire Presbyterian and Wilder Elementary whose generosity is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks to the CUC members who generously donated to help the victims of Harvey in their recovery.    Thanks again Barb, for your INCREDIBLE work for others.
