Health & Safety Procedures Sign-Off

Due Wednesday, November 15, all exhibitors are required to sign and return the "Safety Acknowledgement Form" (located at the end of the Health & Safety Procedures document).

All exhibitors must be familiar with safety procedures implemented at the Toronto Boat Show, and educated on the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

As well, all onsite move-in/out staff and contractors must be knowledgeable on necessary work protection activities that must be implemented in accordance with the law.
Floor Covering is Mandatory

Reminder - all exhibit areas are required to have floor coverings (carpet, tiles, plastic, etc.), which adhere to these guidelines:
  • Installation without trip hazards (lumps, loose edges, raised edges, etc.).
  • Secured edges using approved carpet tape.
  • Cables placed under highly visible cable mats/runners or secured overhead.
  • Where cables are placed on top of floors/carpet or under carpets, the trip hazard must be highlighted so easily seen, and secured in place.
  • Large cables should have ramps in place and single steps.
  • Change in floor level or low-level protruding display parts should be highlighted using signage or bright coloured tape.

Get Creative With Your Exhibit!

Creating new layouts and enhancing the look and feel of your booth positively impacts visitor impressions of both your business and the boat show overall.

Please keep in mind Display Guidelines, and submit proposals for exciting and dynamic display ideas that seem "outside the box" to show manager Cynthia Hare for approval.
Guidelines for Halo Banners

Halo Banners with covered bottoms are permitted in Enercare Centre as long as:
  • they are under 800 square feet
  • made of flame retardant material
  • hung 18 feet below sprinkler heads
  • secured with chains/cabling that support the load
