December Vacation with Soule
Children on the Farm

Winter eventually will arrive, despite the California like weather we are having now. And what better way to spend winter days than with farm animals and farmers?
Kids have a special place at Soule Homestead and signs ups are underway for December and February vacation.

And there are lots of hands on classes for grown ups too!

What to Cook, NOW?
Lobster Stew with Macomber Turnip!

Seafood with a local twist

This easy recipe makes the most of the complex Macomber sweetness that is brought out through slow-cooking, a deep and satisfying flavor that pairs suavely with lobster and miso. Don't feel like lobster? Garnish instead with scallops or cubed tofu, sautéed in butter.

Read the recipe here, enjoy!
