We have 2 new designers!

Please join me in welcoming two new designers to the Technique Junkies team:
Ro Donner

and
Cheri Weston

Both ladies have beautiful artsy pedigrees and are fabulous additions to the TJ team.

You will start seeing their artwork on the TJ blog as early as next week.
Pre-order before a show

If you are coming to a show that is on my schedule, and you would like me to bring products for you (so you save shipping!) email me at [email protected]

and I will bring and hold it for you.
No need to pay me before the show (this will allow you to shop in the booth, too). Just let me know which show and which day you are attending. I will hold your items until 2:30 pm the day you are scheduled to come in.

AS some of you know, I have exhibited at 17 rubber stamp shows this year, with 3 more to go in 2016. We have a Make and Take in our booth, and since I do so many shows, I try to shake things up every now and then with what we are making. Today's email shows you what we are making now through the end of October.

With Halloween approaching so rapidly, I thought it would be fun to have attendees make two colorful tags.

These are the stamps we are using today:
Ghost

Witchy Moon

Be Scary

Happy Halloween

Colorful Halloween Tags

These shimmery gems are fun to make!

Since each of the attendees are making 2 tags, we have setup the MISTIs with both sets of stamps so that the images can be stamped together. The images were aligned on the tags, then inked with StazOn ink.

The Ghost was painted with Art Anthology's Dazzle Clear Coat. The Clear Coat seals in whatever is underneath and coats it with a pretty, sparkly shine. The moon on the witch tag was painted with paint. Both paints, when dry, will resist the Colorations sprays.

Once the paint is dry (I used a heat tool to dry mine), the tags are placed side-by-side and sprayed with  Art Anthology Colorations Sprays. We used Timeless, Plush, Ink Spot and Peacock Feathers on our tags.

Tap the excess spray off the painted areas with a paper towel.

For added shine, place several dots of Gold Dust MINX Shimmering Inks over the tag. Move the ink with your finger tips.

Dry, add ribbons and finish as desired.
I hope you are a little inkspired by today's issue. See you next week!

Sincerely,
