Original TLC Group, Crystal seen in the Middle
Crystal Selene Jones was born in Atlanta with a natural talent and began dancing at age 6. She began her formal training at Norma's™Dance Academy and in 1984, she attended Northside School of Performing Arts where she studied under the direction of William G. Densmore and later joined the Gotta Dance™ Dance Company under the direction of Leonard Roberson. At the age of 17 years old, Crystal's first big break came when she became a back-up dancer for Atlanta recording artist, Anne G., and began a cross country tour.  In the process, she was introduced to a number of music industry insiders, including renowned producer, Jermaine Dupri, with whom she forged a strong bond.  A year later, while attending a Jack-the Rapper Convention, Crystal's unique looks and stylish bleach-blonde hair caught the attention of Record Executive, Van Gibbs of Palm Tree Enterprises and moved her to New York where she toured with Chuck Chill-Out and Kool Chip and appeared in several music videos. Following her move to New York she was signed to a management deal with Ian Burke who managed several groups in Atlanta and became involved with one artist, Tim Barnwell (a/k/a, Headliner), lead singer of Arrested Development

Crystal was convinced Arrested Development had something fresh and new to offer the industry, she called on an old friend, Mike Mauldin (Jermaine Dupri's dad), and convinced him to sign them. They went on to become trailblazers within hip-hop music and won two Grammy awards (1993 - Best New Artist & Best Rap Single - Tennessee), Rollingstone Magazine named them band of the year in 1992 and they were the first, and last rap group to win the Grammy's coveted Best New Artist award.

Crystal also came to realize that something substantial was missing in the music industry. She called her manager Ian and after explaining her idea, they both went about putting a group together and conceptualized a female version of Bell Biv DeVoe. 2nd Nature was born which included Tionne Watkins, Lisa Lopes and herself, Crystal, also known as TLC. Get the rest of the story Saturday on Game Changers with Lisa Faulkner.

Crystal is also an author and phenomenal woman visiting Game Changers to discuss her book, Awakening of a Shattered Dream that speaks to her new platform and partnership with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

Josey Milner

Josey Milner is part small town teen, part road-worthy country starlet, and at only 17 years old, she turned heads and changed hearts with her debut US single, Not Pretty Enough. The song thrusted Josey into the country music spotlight, launching her anti-bullying campaign with Angels and Doves, earning her a 2013 Independent Country Music Award nomination for Promising Young Artist, a Top 10 Hottest New Artist designation, and a Number One single on the world's first independent country music chart, Indie World.

Now 18, Josey is back with the follow-up, aptly titled, Cowgirls

The single was  released to country radio in November, and it is currently #2 on the New Music Weekly airplay chart and #81 on Music Row's Country Breakout Chart! "Cowgirls" is a boot-kicking, foot stomping dance anthem that is sure to have game changers rocking and thumping on Saturday as Josey joins us to talk about growing up small town and now earning country music fame at such a young age.

She started out in The Josey Milner Band and became one of the most sought-after live acts in the Kansas City area performing for sold-out crowds and claiming the title of "Kansas City's Princess of Country Music."

More recently, Josey has also opened standing room only shows for American Idol, Scotty McCreery, Chris Cagle, and Jon Wolfe.  She has performed at CMA Fest and the Hard Rock Caf in Nashville, The Teddy Bear Festival for children's charities, and the Nascar Kobalt 400 in Las Vegas, for Welcome Home Troops.  We will see if she will grace Game Changers with her grooves on Saturday's show

Josey has earned countless nominations in country music and with her new

release of "Cowgirls," Josey is returning to her rodeo roots, ready to rope and ride and conquer the country music crown. With international airplay, charting, live performances and awards, and even a Facebook game using her image (A Better World,) Josey is poised for world-wide stardom.

One thing is for certain, wherever her music may take her, she will always remain the small-town girl with the rodeo spurs still hanging on her wall.
