HealthWatch Wisconsin, in collaboration with ABC for Health, is pleased to introduce the TLC for Kids Lifeline Library for 2018!

Teach, Learn, Connect, or "TLC" for Kids Library is your place to learn or refresh your understanding of the Lifeline program in Wisconsin--a federal service that provides a free cell phone or discounted home phone service for qualifying individuals. We have added new videos and fact sheets covering Lifeline, Lifeline on Tribal Lands, and more to the 2018 library!

You will also find information on the Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP) and Telecommunications Assistance Program (TAP).

Lifeline provides discounts on home phones, local calls, emergency calls, and other fees listed on your phone bills. On the go? No problem! Instead of a home phone, Lifeline can provide a free cellphone--preloaded with minutes, which replenish each month!

TEPP & TAP - A Closer Look

TEPP (Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Plan) helps people with disabilities buy phone equipment that makes communicating easier! TEPP helps cover the cost of a many different devices, such as: teletypewriters (TTY), amplified phones, headsets, and more! TEPP is a voucher program. It covers all the expense AFTER the first $100 for the cost of the equipment.
