Early registration rates end on February 22 for the 2018 Masonry Educators' Workshop, which will be held at the University of South Florida in beautiful Tampa, Florida March 11-13. The Masonry Educator's Workshop (MEW), formerly called the University Professors' Masonry Workshop (UPMW), was recently renamed so that all educators are welcome. The Workshop is designed to assist educators with creating or offering masonry courses so that students will be positively exposed to masonry and feel more comfortable when using masonry on their future projects. Educational sessions on masonry design, detailing, and construction will be presented; panel discussions on a number of topics are planned; and a hands-on masonry laying activity will be offered.   Click here for additional information on the Workshop or click here to register.

To forward TMS emails, E-Newsletter, and Announcements that are sent via Constant Contact, use the Forward button at the bottom of the newsletters to ensure that if one of your contacts hits the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom, that they don't unsubscribe you. The problem with the Forward button though is that it only allows you to Forward to a limited number of email addresses (7). For longer lists, you may have to do this several times. Alternatively, you could Forward the email with a personal note at the top, explaining that if they do not wish to receive the TMS forwarded messages from you, that they contact you directly to be removed from your particular email list.

Please note: Your email address is from a list solely owned and maintained by The Masonry Society (TMS) for our exclusive email purposes. TMS does NOT share our email lists. If you are a TMS Member, sit on a TMS committee, you should not "unsubscribe" as your email is essential to your membership and is used for committee balloting. Likewise, if you have requested to be on one of our mailing lists, you should also not click unsubscribe because by doing so, you will be removed from the distribution list.
