The Great Trail's 2017 celebration event is planned for August 26 in Ottawa, but in the meantime, we have a bunch of holiday long weekend content for you to enjoy, including an update on our 100 percent connection events and a story about a family that supported the Trail in 2016 by crossing the country on it.

 SUSSEX DR. Rideau Hall and 24 Sussex now connected to The Great Trail

Back in 2013, the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, unveiled an honorary section of The Great Trail between Rideau Hall and 24 Sussex Drive. Now these two iconic addresses will be connected to the main spine of The Great Trail.
