United is the second airline at O'Hare to offer the Pre-Check Program. In March 2012, American Airlines became the first at O'Hare to participate in the program.
The Pre-Check lane in Terminal 1 at O'Hare is located at the security checkpoint near Door 1F on the upper level ticketing area.
The announcement was made today at a news conference in Terminal 1 by TSA Associate Administrator Doug Hoffsass and TSA Deputy Federal Security Director at O'Hare David Kane. Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) First Deputy Commissioner Michael Boland also spoke at the news conference. Boland thanked the TSA for continuing to extend the program to O'Hare. Pre-Check meets three of the CDA's most important priorities for air travelers - safety, security and an enhanced customer experience at the airport.
