Dancers should report at least 1 hour to the theater before the curtain. They must be dressed in their costume with make up and hair done —ready to go in stage.
No food nor drinks are permitted in the dressing rooms. We have several students who have severe allergies to certain foods causing an anaphylactic reaction which is a life threatening condition.
Absolutely NO STUDENTS are permitted in the AUDIENCE during the recitals.
DO NOT bring your dancer into the audience, you and the dancer will be asked to leave the theater. Plus dressing room helpers are keeping a count of each group of dancers and this will cause confusion and anxiety.
Parents are welcome to sit in the dressing area with your child.
At each performance there are parent volunteers working back stage, in the dressing rooms and out front in the lobby.
These parents provide excellent care for all the children participating in the recitals.
Everyone is welcome to volunteer for one of the recitals that you are not planning to watch. In the past we have had the best parents in the world running everything as smooth as glass.
If you are watching the show, please do not worry, your star is in the best of hands. You may come back at intermission to visit.
Bring something for your little one to quietly occupy themselves with. Books, video games, coloring books, etc. (No magic markers!)
Don’t forget — no eating and no drinking while in costume !!
Fathers are NOT permitted in the dressing rooms.
Absolutely NO cameras are permitted in the dressing rooms.
NO photographing or video taping permitted during the performances.
Theater security will remove you from the audience if you are taking photos or video taping.
