This day-long webinar for the supplemental curriculum The Zones of Regulation is hosted by the book author Leah Kuypers. We hope that each building who is interested, has at least one representative to learn about implementing "zones" with fidelity. The webinar is designed to be done in a group setting. Monday, April 30th, 3:30pm-6:30pm

Instructor: Dr. Greg Benner
This course is designed to give secondary teachers research-based strategies that will contribute to engaging, healthy, safe, and equitable classroom learning environments. Attendees will gain knowledge and skills to engage middle and high school youth. Strategies for building youth social and emotional competence, student motivation for learning, and leadership will be emphasized.
Elementary FAST Strategies:
Function-Based Classroom Support
Thursday, May 3rd, 4:00pm-7:00pm

Instructor: Dr. Greg Benner
This course is designed to give elementary teachers effective strategies that will support the well-being of youth who are struggling with social or emotional challenges. This class emphasizes function-based classroom strategies to better support youth who may seek power, avoid tasks or requests, or seek attention. Educators will learn how to differentiate social and emotional supports based on youth behavioral need in and out of the classroom. Moreover, attendees will learn how to provide function-based mentoring interventions based on student need.
