6th Annual Tab-a-pull-ooza Pull Tab Contest
for Dayton's Ronald McDonald House
Saturday, May 19th, from 8 a.m to 1 p.m.
at PNC 2nd Street Market
The Tab-a-pull-ooza is an annual event where the community is invited to bring their pull tab collections, large and small, to the PNC 2nd Street Market for a friendly competition.
Prizes donated by McDonalds, The Cincinnati Red's, La Rosa's, GiGi's Cupcake's, and other area businesses will be awarded to the top collectors in three categories: individual, group and school. At the end of the competition, the collected pull tabs will be recycled for salvage value and the revenue generated will be donated to the Dayton Ronald McDonald House. Along with the House's ongoing Pull Tab Collection Program, The Tab-a-pull-ooza helps to raise approximately $16,000 annually for the House.
This family-friendly event is a great way to teach children the importance of recycling and truly illustrates the wonderful things that can happen when a community "pulls" together. We hope to see you there!
