Sunday morning Tai Chi sessions provide an introduction to the movements and philosophy of the ancient Chinese martial art practiced for its defense training and health benefits. Led by Steve Hahn, M.D., the sessions take place in the Museum's outdoor Sculpture Garden underneath the enigmatic Joseph Wheelwright Tree Figures.

June 9: Mahjong at the Museum

You don't need to know a thing about this classic Chinese tile game - come watch, learn, and play. Mahjong-inspired art and jewelry will be for sale.

 

July 14: Summer Fun with Friends

Bring your friends and dancing shoes to the Museum for a night of inspiration with music by Blonde Ambition.

 

August 11: Spontaneous Combustion

Performance artist Marcy B. Freedman and modern dancer Marsi Burns present a series of improvisational performances while the band Strange Pools adds a freestyle harmony to the

evening.
