The Bluebirds, an old-school band influenced by the rich Cincinnati heritage of King Records and Stax and Muscle Shoals artists, will bring their eclectic musical mix to Devou Park on July 26 for the Music@BCM concert series.

Led by well-known guitarist, producer, engineer and songwriter Marcos Sastre, the Bluebirds have been recording and performing their original music for more than two decades. Despite their name, the group features a variety of genres, including R&B, rock, funk, soul, pop, jazz and blues.

Music@BCM continues on August 2 with Ben Levin and the Heaters and our season ends August 9 with the Company.

Music@BCM concerts are held in the museum's outdoor amphitheater at 1600 Montague Road-Devou Park, Covington, KY 41011. In case of rain, performances move indoors. Parking is free. Doors open at 6 p.m.; the concert runs from 7 to 9 p.m.

Admission is $5 plus tax for adults and $3 plus tax for children ages 3-12. Museum members pay for one admission and get the second one free. Adult beverages are available for purchase.
