The Great   Invocation
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ* return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men -
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

*Many religions believe in a World Teacher, a "Coming One", knowing him under such names
as the Lord Maitreya, the Imam Mahdi, the Kalki Avatar and the Bodhisattva. These terms are
sometimes used in versions of the Great Invocation for people of specific faiths.

Greetings Dear Spiritual Family!

As we look forward to graduations and summer vacations, I'd like to take a minute to thank those of you who came out for our May membership drive and Spring fundraiser.  We raised $1023 which we are putting towards getting our center spruced up, painted and repaired.

I also want to thank the volunteers who worked so diligently with Janice Maleyeff to ensure the food was prepared, cooked and served.  Every non profit depends tremendously on its volunteers, so I thank you all as we look forward to the continued efforts of our Volunteer Coordinator and Board President, Amanda Moberley, who is gearing up for our next Painting and Pizza Party on 6/24!

And so - we are taking it up a notch this month - we have lots of community and center events, drumming circles, classes, workshops - and the BIG NEW.... .drum roll please...

...We have a new, full time Music Director! Mr. Greg James will be joining us officially on Sunday, June 25th at our 10:30 service!  More about Greg closer to that date - but rest assured - we are beyond excited to have this talented musician join us!

As I look at how far we have come over the past three years together, I feel so blessed to be a part of this growing, vibrant, spiritual family. As you help spread the word about the Center, remember that we are pretty unique in our mission of being totally independent of following just one spiritual/religious path - we are inclusive and dedicated to aiding you in your own, personal spiritual quest in a synthesis of New Thought (Science of Mind and Unity), metaphysics, quantum physics, along with taking it up a notch by including the Wisdom Teachings as brought forth by the Himalayan Masters of Wisdom. In the bible these wise ones are referred to as the "seven thrones before God".

I will be sharing this and a lot more in our first Membership Class, which I am facilitating with Rev. Marcia Todd-Thompson at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 25th following a special welcome fellowship brunch for Greg James!  More to come on that...

I believe that we all have the same destination, but in order to reach that destination, we all are charged to honor, support and love one another unconditionally so that we can all reach that goal together.

I plan on reaching for EXCELLENCE!

Won't you join me?

  Love and Abundant Blessings!
Rev. Rebecca

with Reverend Rebecca Nagy
Thursday, June 8th
7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

World Invocation Day has been observed since 1952. The Great Invocation is used to invoke spiritual energies of Light, Love and Purpose. God's purpose for humanity, the Divine Plan, works out as human beings respond organically, and often unconsciously, to these higher energies. Join Rev Rebecca Nagy and avail yourself to building right relations and Oneness with all..
