Picture Tallahassee: Where We Live, Work & Play
Presented by Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) at AIA Florida
Jan 27, 2017 - Mar 31, 2017
Opening Reception: Friday, Jan. 27: 5:30-7 pm
Picture Tallahassee: Where We Live, Work & Play is a juried, fine art photography exhibition that celebrates community design as an art form. On display are 26 images featuring architecture in the Tallahassee area. Diverse in style and subject matter, some of the photographs convey the impressive weight of concrete and steel, while others capture the delicacy of nature reflected in glass. By exhibiting artful images of the physical structures where we live, work, and play, this exhibition demonstrates that our built environment has the power to summon an emotional connection in people.
This exhibition is presented by the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Florida) and is made possible through the partnership of the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) with additional support from the Florida Foundation for Architecture and AIA Tallahassee.
A free, public opening reception is scheduled for Friday, January 27
th from 5:30
pm - 7 pm. This event will also serve as the awards announcement for the exhibition.

Noel Coward's "Private Lives" is a comedy of passions. Amanda and her new husband, Victor, find themselves honeymooning in the same hotel as Amanda's ex-husband, Elyot, and his new wife, Sibyl. Not just the same hotel, but in suites with adjoining balconies! Together again sparks fly and they realize they are still passionately in love.
