The brick building at the corner of North Bridge and West High that Tapastre calls home has been an integral part of Somerville's history.  Starting as a private home to different families, transforming into the town library (as seen in the picture above), police station and borough hall, and ending up as home to a number of different restaurants over the years. 

This grand building has been a  cornerstone in the town of 

Somerville since the late 1800's.
