Aligned curriculum maps = social studies success!
SCS uses Achieve 3000 as an RTI resource. Although Achieve 3000 offers texts that emphasize historical content and various social studies themes, it should not be used in place of the District's social studies curriculum and resources. The social studies curriculum maps and resources provided by Curriculum & Instruction are aligned to the state's standards to ensure students are prepared for the annual TNReady Social Studies assessments, which count towards teacher, school, and district growth in grades 5-11.
SCS has love #4SCSFamilies!
We're saluting our awesome families December 11-17! Don't forget to shout out your favorite SCS parents on social media all week using the #4SCSFamilies hashtag!
