About ACLS
The Access Community Lecture Series, hosted by the Access Ministry of McLean Bible Church, takes place on designated Monday evenings from Oct.- May.  A speaker gives a presentation on a topic of interest to the disability community. They cover a variety of issues affecting all ages and disabilities. The lectures are free and open to anyone in the community who would be helped by these resources especially parents, teachers, therapists, and volunteers.

    Teaching Children Essential Social Skills

The Social Skills Center

This upbeat and interactive workshop will share the
life skills that are necessary to optimize the happiness
and health of all children, whether they are your own
or those you work with or teach. Dr. Haley will provide
simple and straight-forward techniques for teaching
these important skills, including a discussion of the 7
essential social skills needed for success. All
strategies will be solution-focused and can be
implemented immediately.
