 The Board of Directors of WEtech Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Yvonne Pilon to serve as WEtech's President and CEO effective June 1st. Pilon becomes one of the youngest female presidents heading a Regional Innovation Centre as part of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE). Pilon joined WEtech Alliance in 2010 as Director of Programs and Communications, leading WEtech's extensive roster of entrepreneurial programming and marketing efforts. In 2013, she was promoted to Vice President. In this newly-created position, Pilon provided leadership and oversight to WEtech's internal operations and functions, including strategic planning and partnerships, team leadership and program design and delivery.  Today, the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation and Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare joined forces by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to officially launch the cross border Life Sciences Hub. This hub will improve patient care, advance clinical research, increase development of new products, attract high-value trade and investments and create desirable careers in our region.
