 DoD Navy SBIR/STTR Summit at Wichita State Dec. 13

Wichita State University is collaborating with New Mexico State University to offer a full-day DoD Navy SBIR/STTR Innovation Summit on Wednesday, Dec. 13. The event will include a breakdown of Wichita State resources, one-on-one sessions with Navy Program Manager Brian Wilber and SBIR Tips & Best Practices. It will conclude with a livestream from NMSU's Arrowhead Center featuring powerhouse speakers addressing the Navy SBIR/STTR program's $350 million in non-dilutive funds available to small businesses. EPA release SBIR Phase 1 Solicitation

The
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released its 2017-2018 Small Business Innovation Res
earch (SBIR) Phase I Solicitation to develop innovative technologies that will help protect human health and the environment. EPA is calling for small businesses to apply for Phase I awards up to $100,000 to demonstrate proof of concept in the following topic areas: air quality, manufacturing, clean and safe water, land revitalization, homeland security, and building construction materials.
