Building a product on an assembly line goes back to Henry Ford who built the first moving assembly line in 1913. The paced assembly line is still a viable production process today, from building simple products to complex products like an aircraft.

Wichita State selected to host aerospace tech transfer forum

 

 

The Association of University Technology Transfer Managers has selected Wichita State University to host its newest partnering forum on aerospace technologies.

The forum, which will be hosted by WSU Ventures on Wednesday June 10 in the Rhatigan Student Center, is a unique opportunity for universities to network with industry partners and take an in-depth look at the aerospace technology sector. Read more...
   

NIAR accredited as a forced entry and ballistics resistance test facility



NIAR has received accreditation from the Bureau of Diplomatic Security as a Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance (FE/BR) test facility for the U.S. Department of State. The accreditation allows NIAR to perform FE/BR testing for manufacturers that contract with the U.S. Department of State to provide doors, windows, opaque panels and glazing panels to U. S. Diplomatic and Consular Missions overseas. Read More...


NetWork Kansas to Host Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Events 



NetWork Kansas' second annual Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge series will bring together students from across northwest Kansas and southeast Kansas to compete for more than $10,000 in total prize money on April 29 in Columbus, KS and May 6 in Leoti, KS. The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge features a business plan tradeshow, elevator pitches, and formal business presentations. Read more...
