  Made with Code

Earlier this summer Google and partners like the Girls Scouts and MIT Media Lab launched "Made with Code." This project is aimed at getting girls interested in computer science. The idea that drives the project is that if girls are inspired to see that Computer Science can make the world more beautiful, more usable, more safe, more kind, more innovative, more healthy, and more funny, then hopefully they will begin to contribute their essential voices. The Made with Code Project page features tools to help you code your own jewelry using a simple drag and drop interface, avatar creation, GIF animation as well as a platform to create your own custom musical beats.

This site features many tools that join together creativity and technology - fun no matter your age or gender!

Computer Science with Intel

Intel, the microprocessor manufacturer, whose presence is felt 'inside' most of our PCs, now takes us on The Journey Inside.  This program is just one of the free teaching resources available on  Intel's website to help students develop 21st century skills.

The Journey Inside is a collection of 35 interactive, online lessons where anyone interested can work on the lessons and activities people at Intel for students to learn about technology, computers, and society. Where, at their own pace, one can complete any or all of the six sections: Introduction to Computers, Circuits and Switches, Digital Information, Microprocessors, The Internet, and Technology and Society.
