Distributed modular I/O

IO-Link has become synonymous with the term "distributed modular I/O". We know it is universal, smart, and easy, but what exactly is IO-Link

In a nutshell, by utilizing a standard sensor cable, the IO-Link slave device speaks point to point with an IO-Link master. The IO-Link master then combines the data with other IO-Link slave devices and communicates over an industrial network or backplane to the controller.

Combined with Toshiba Machine's robot vision recognition package, TSVision3D, the TVM also supports easy implementation of bin-picking automation. With such convenience, no CAD data is necessary for model registration. Instead, the introduction of an automated system is supported with an easy calibration procedure

High Performance VISOR ® V20
     
Low-cost vision code reader with 1.3 MP resolution

The new VISOR® V20 Standard rounds off Sensopart's portfolio of vision sensors with code reading functions.  The compact sensor reads all common 1 D barcodes and 2D data matrix codes. Typical applications involve identification of directly marked components.
 
The integrated 1.3 MP imaging chip also opens up applications for which the standard VGA resolution is insufficient, e.g. detection of several small codes in a large search area.
 
The VISOR® V20 series code reader is equipped with a compact, heavy-duty housing (IP 67) with integrated image recording, optics, lighting and signal processing. In addition to EthernetIP, the vision sensor also supports the fieldbus standard Profinet
.
