227 Youth Employed in 2015!

Another record year in the books!
TeenForce is heading into 2016 with a lot of news and a lot of momentum.  We have a new headquarters location, new branches, some great new funding partners and a growing staff of dedicated professionals.  Please read below for the details.
New Headquarters Office

We are so happy to be located on the campus of MetroED, home of Silicon Valley Career Technical Education Center.  This campus serves over 1600 high school youth and young adults each day.  These students are studying 17 different career pathways and are eager to put their new skills to work.
Serving youth from four branches!

TeenForce staffing specialists are covering the county!  We serve youth from four sites:
The HUB in San Jose serves Opportunity Youth.
We serve South County youth from The Friendly Inn in Morgan Hill.  Career Pathways students are being supported by our staff at SVCTE and on six East Side Union High School district campuses.
Of course, all of this growth means we have some great new staff.  You can meet our team on our web site.  And, we are still seeking to add two team members.  If you are interested in supporting foster youth with job placements or in helping offer our services to new business clients, please let us know.
STEM and Work Readiness Program

We have published our annual STEM and Work Readiness report. This booklet highlights the successful first year of the program and where we plan to grow in the busy year ahead.
We placed 16 interns last summer and can really use your help to grow to 45 internships for summer 2016.   Click the image at the right for a program video.
TeenForce wins Jefferson Award!

Our founder, John Hogan, was selected as a Jefferson Award winner.  The video at the right highlights one of our great young workers and, Outreach, our terrific client that serves the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities and older adults.
About TeenForce
We are a social enterprise helping youth develop the skills, habits and work experience to fulfill their potential.  We use a non-profit staffing agency model to connect businesses to well prepared workers.  We work with youth ages 14 - 24 and have a particular emphasis on supporting youth from the foster care system.

Founded in 2010, we have placed over 550 youth in part-time and full-time jobs, and the youth have earned over $2.3 million
