Elevate's Project Payback Program offers youth offenders an opportunity to take responsibility for their behavior. In the event their actions resulted in monetary loss, Elevate assists youth in meeting this obligation by arranging work for them on a subsidized Work Crew. Adult Intervention specialists not only manage these young people, they mentor and motivate them to make positive changes in their lives.
Teens may also work Elevate’s Crew to earn the money that they need to pay for tickets issued for driving citations or other delinquent behavior.
Volunteer hours may also be earned through participation on the Crew. These hours may be required by their school organization, a social service agency, the courts, or even by parents.
Members of the Crew work at non-profits, Tuesday through Saturday, in the Summer and on Saturdays during the school year, until they have satisfied their obligation.
