WHAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED
What post gets more action than any in the City's social media history?
The photo of our Firefighters going above and beyond for a resident of our City. After assisting EMS with a resident who dislocated her hip, Firefighters  Kyle Dowdall, Stan Hutton, and Lt. Ken Sallenger (behind the camera) stayed to complete the mulching project she was working on. This post to the City's official Facebook page reached over 84,500 people!

TCPD Chief gets 3 excuses to chow down on pizza with local kids
The 2016 Cop Card program was a hit! Grace Boyd from GHES was the first winner collecting all 20 cards from TCPD. Quickly following was Lauren Gavis from TCES and Gavin Gavis from GHMS. This program was started to give our officers an opportunity to foster a positive relationship with the kids in our community. We are still investigating whether the Chief came up with this prize for the winners in order to have an excuse to eat pizza and ice cream with some pretty cool kids...Although, we can't blame him. The smiles on the kids' faces are priceless. A special thanks to Danny's Pizza and Bruster's Ice Cream for their donations! If your child is collecting the cards, please note they can still bring the entire collection to TCPD and receive a card for free ice cream!

Here's your sign
Parks & Rec debuted a new sign for their Youth sports kickoff this past week. These clever, and important, reminders for the parents of the record 1,593 participants have gotten social media attention as well as kudos for finally "Sayin' it like it is." These signs appear at Runde Park, Turner Field, Look Out Park and TCES.
