WTMO Telemundo Orlando Sweeps the Competition and Wins in Primetime
ORLANDO, August 8, 2016WTMO Telemundo Orlando dominated Primetime (M-F 7-11p) and was the #1 station in the market among Adults 18-34, regardless of language, according to Nielsen's most recent survey.  Delivering 25% more viewers than its nearest competitor, Telemundo Orlando's success was powered by the finale of Super Series  El Señor de los Cielos ,and strong premieres of  Silvana Sin Lana at 8p,  Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso at 9p, and  Señora Acero 3, La Coyote at 10p.

In addition, Telemundo Orlando was the market's #1 Spanish-language station sign-on to sign-off (M-Su 7a-1a).  The station also showed increases in all key demos: Adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, growing its audience share year-to-year, book-to-book.

The station's local news broadcast Telenoticias Orlando at 6p garnered the #1 spot in Spanish-language local news with a 56% share among Adults 18-49 and a 67% share among Adults 25-54. The 11p edition was the #1 newscast in the market, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34.  Telenoticias Orlando  also outpaced Spanish-language news at 11pm among all key Adult dem os.
