Volunteer Hours for
Young Adult Book Reviews

You asked, we listened. For those in need of more community service hours, you now have another option! Here’s how it works:

  • You read a book at least 100 pages in length.
  • You fill out the form we provide in the library, which includes information about the book, and a 1.5-page review (I.e., Half of the front and the entire back of the page) of the book.
  • Turn the form in--we give you one hour of community service for every 100 pages read. So if you read a 374-page book, you get three hours.

That’s it. It’s easy!
Click on the link above for Youth Month Programs this week at Fords Branch Library.

Special Notice for our Iselin patrons: The Iselin Branch renovation has begun to prepare to celebrate 50 years of service to the community. Please register for programs whenever possible so the library can contact you if there are any schedule changes due to the renovation.
