Tell your Senator to oppose the new tax bill
As you know, we are in a time of urgency once again. The House passed its harmful tax bill. The Senate is aiming to sneak ACA repeal through in its tax plan to cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations while creating a tremendous hole in the deficit. They hope to vote on this package soon after Thanksgiving.

This tax bill will take insurance away from 13 million people and spike premiums.  The tax bill would repeal the individual mandate and increase pressure to gut safety net programs like Ryan White and Medicaid in future budgets.

Use this link to find your local Senator and tell them to stop health care sabotage! You will have the option of tweeting, Facebook or phone. If you choose phone it is likely you will need to leave a VM. Here's a sample message:

"Hello I'm a nurse and voter in the state of XX. I urge the Senator to vote NO on the tax bill for many reasons, including the ACA mandate removal and eventual threats to safety net programs to make up for the huge deficit it will create. As a constituent and health care provider I urge you to vote no."
