Temescal Street Flicks is an engaging outdoor film series happening every Thursday evening in September in the heart of of Temescal at Kasper's Plaza (Telegraph and 46th) in Oakland, CA. Sponsored by the
Temescal Telegraph Business Improvement District, Temescal Street Flicks will focus on showcasing local, independent and family-friendly films including feature films:
Ghost Town to Havana,
HITS,
California Typewriter and
FREE The Documentary (about
Destiny Arts Center). In addition, each movie night will include several local short films, and Q&A with the filmmakers. The weekly outdoor films will draw local Oakland residents and attendees from all over the Bay Area. The Temescal BID is coordinating extensive marketing and ads to attract an expected attendance of thousands to Temescal's annual outdoor movie series.

Parking in Temescal Community Meeting

Come hear from Michael Ford, City of Oakland parking Manager about parking in Temescal, specifically addressing the areas bounded by and adjacent to 46th St, 51st St, Shattuck, Telegraph and Webster. Michael will present about on-street parking, Temescal Plaza Parking lot (at 50th & Telegraph), and future parking management strategies. There will also be time for Q&A.
