Canadian Agriculture Partnership




  • Cost-share funding for provincially licensed abattoirs to enhance food safety, animal welfare and biosecurity is now open. Applications are being accepted until June 30th, 2020 or while funds are available, whichever comes first. The program guide is available by emailing: agpartnership@ontario.ca or calling 1-877-424-1300.

  • Cost-share funding to support market access through the Market Access Initiative continues to be offered. Eligible applications are received and assessed on a continuous basis, while funding is available.

Le Calendrier MAAARO
Le Calendrier MAAARO est une ressource en ligne destinée aux particuliers et aux organismes intéressés de l'Ontario. Les activités qui y figurent peuvent âtre organisées par le ministère de l'Agriculture, de l'Alimentation et des Affaires rurales de l'Ontario (MAAARO) ou par d'autres groupes. Le but du site est de fournir des renseignements utiles aux clients des secteurs de l'agriculture et du développement économique régional. Il est recommandé de consulter régulièrement le calendrier afin de prendre connaissance des activités, des ateliers, des conférences et des réunions à venir.

Possibilités de financement actuellement offertes



  • Il est possible de présenter une demande d'aide financière à frais partagés pour les abattoirs titulaires d'un permis fédéral afin d'accroître la salubrité des aliments, le bien-être des animaux et la biosécurité. Les demandes sont acceptées jusqu'au 30 juin 2020 ou jusqu'à ce que les fonds aient été épuisés, selon la première éventualité. Pour obtenir le guide du programme, il suffit d'envoyer un courriel à agpartnership@ontario.ca ou de composer le 1 877 424-1300.

  • Une aide financière pour soutenir l'accès aux marchés dans le cadre de l'Initiative pour l'accès aux marchés est toujours offerte. Les demandes admissibles sont reçues et évaluées en tout temps, tant que des fonds sont disponibles.

Élaborez un plan d’action pour faire face à la maladie

La maladie peut perturber les activités d’une ferme. Si la COVID‑19 venait à frapper des membres clés de la famille, la maladie pourrait avoir des effets dévastateurs sur l’exploitation agricole. C’est pourquoi les experts recommandent fortement de mettre au point une liste ou un plan simple permettant d’assurer la continuité des activités de base de l’exploitation en cas de maladie grave.
