Tax Deductible Donation Receipts

 

We have prepared examples of tax donation receipts that a 501c3 organization should provide to its donors. The receipt shows that a charitable contribution was made to your organization by the individual or business.

 

The templates that we provide are basic ones.  You should customize them, make them look the way you like and add additional info if you like.

 

At a minimum, you should include the dollar value of the funds received and also state whether any good, service, item or gift was provided to the donor in exchange for the donation. We have included two examples:


The first example assumes that no good or service was provided in exchange for the donation.


The second example assumes that the donor received a ticket to an event in exchange for the donation.  Link below:
