Southwest Contract, which has operated in Temple since 1997, will build a new warehouse facility. The 40,000 square foot, $2.5 million facility will be located on 6.9 acres on the corner of Industrial Boulevard and Eberhardt Road in Enterprise Park.
Temple High School is being recognized as one of the top academic high schools in Texas. Travis Science Academy also earned multiple distinctions.
Temple College will be offering commercial driver's license (CDL) training through its Division of Business and Continuing Education beginning this fall.  The program is five weeks long and will include 210 hours of instruction − 70 hours in the classroom and 140 hours on the road. Temple is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. The City of Temple is located in the heart of Central Texas on Interstate 35, 45 minutes north of Austin/Round Rock and 30 minutes south of Waco. Its location along I-35 connects the community to the international markets of Mexico via Laredo and three of the largest metro areas in Texas: Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas/Ft.
