Temple Israel Center is proud to be hosting this year's METNY USY dinner, at which TIC members Jennifer and Cliff Seltzer will be among the honorees. TIC PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS - THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 8:00 PM

BACKYARD  SHABBAT  

The second  Backyard   Shabbat  of the season is on June 24 at the home of   Ella and Sam Kohn,
9 Craven Lane, White Plains.  

All are invited to join us from 4:30-6:30 pm for a casual afternoon of mingling and schmoozing, a light dairy supper, and a brief study session (for adults).

SHINSHINIM PROGRAM
This August, the Westchester community will welcome two shinshinim (young Israeli adults doing a year of service). These high school graduates will spend their gap year working at TIC and at other partnering synagogues and Jewish day schools before starting their mandatory military service in Israel.

SPECIAL SHABBAT "WELCOME SUMMER" EDITION - SHABBAT, JUNE 17, 10:45 AM
Get ready for the first Special Shabbat of the summer! Children of all ages are welcome to wear their camp shirts or favorite "tourist" T-shirts (from DisneyWorld, the Bronx Zoo, or another destination) and be part of this fun and interactive Shabbat. SHABBAT MORNING EARLY ARRIVALS

 

In order to better ensure the safety of our congregants, those entering the building prior to 8:45 am on Saturday mornings should use the front door by the Main Office, where we will have a security guard posted beginning at 8:00 am.  Thank you for your cooperation.

TIC FOOD VOLUNTEERS

Do you know where YOUR next meal is coming from?  

Would you like to help someone who doesn't? 

Join the TIC Food Volunteers!  We prepare more than 150 meals on the first Sunday of every month for the hungry and homeless.  Meals are prepared in volunteers' homes and brought to TIC for transport to The Sharing Community in Yonkers, NY. L'DOR V'DOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP - JULY 5 THROUGH AUGUST 4 
The Hebrew Home at Riverdale is accepting applications for their L'Dor V'Dor Summer Internship, an innovative, fun, and meaningful four-week program for Jewish teenagers. Interns volunteer at the Hebrew Home, connect with residents, and attend educational seminars and workshops. A $500.00 stipend is offered for those who complete all program requirements.

MINYANIM AT TIC!
Support fellow congregants who want to pray in a community as well as those who are saying Kaddish.  It is an act of great kindness. We gather in the lrene Schwebel Chapel at 7:10 am Monday-Friday, at 8:00 pm Monday-Thursday, and at 9:00 am and 8:00 pm on Sunday.   Check our calendar for minyanim times on Shabbat.
