Special Make-up Policy for Jr Classes at TennisPlex!

We are so lucky to have had our wonderful bubbles for play this winter! We have had so much snow and so much play. Junior classes have been cancelled only one Saturday afternoon and one Thursday, yesterday.
We are extending make-ups:
1. If you are registered for Session 4 Session 3 classes may be made up in Session 4.
2. We will have an entire make-up week at the end of Session 4 in May for everyone.
Special make-up days all week.
3. Anyone whose classes were cancelled may make up class any time through Session.

End of Session Tennis and Pizza Parties this week! Please do not miss the end of session pizza parties this week-- If you can not attend your class email our coaches for an alternate class. We will do our best to accommodate everyone!
Priority Registration deadline has passed for players previously in the classes- We will be accepting players in all the classes.
We are still offering our Free Tee-Shirt to everyone who registers by Sunday, March 8th.
Have you seen our "Wall of Winners" in our party room-- Plex players pictured all won trophies last year ... And there are so many more.

Great Summer Camp Programs at the TennisPlex
|
Outstanding instruction in our air-conditioned tennis courts ... and programs rain-or-shine in our wonderful bubbles.
Full day and 1/2 day programs will be available at the PLEX for all ages and levels. Camp will begin June 15th and run in one-week sessions.
Campers may have opportunity to go to nearby Pool, Splash Park and Golf Driving range.
Players may come for entire summer or just a week or two. Extended care will be available, if there is enough demand.

Montgomery TennisPlex Senior Men's "Tennis Topia"
Open 65s, 75s, and 85s - Results
Players hailing from as far as Chambersburg, PA, Bel Air, MD and Fairfax, VA. competed in first annual Montgomery TennisPlex Senior Men's "Tennis Topia" Open 65s,75s,85s.
All three finals were determined in a decisive third set as follows: Men's 65s: John Curtin d. Joe Touzin 6-1, 4-6, 6-2; Men's 75s: Yung Chao d. Kent Watkins 2-6, 6-4, 6-0, and Men's 85s: Harvey Zorbaugh d. Richmond Allen 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. In the Men's consolation finals, Eric Edelson d. Jay Lefever 6-1, 6-1.
All players received a gift certificate from
Tennis Topia
, a tennis retail shop in Rockville, Md and a goody bag from
Whole Foods Market Kentlands
in Gaithersburg.
Awards were presented by Kevin Dowdell, Tournament Director and TennisPlex manager.

Inclement Weather Policy and Notice
Please be sure we have an email address to reach you for both home and work. If we have to cancel classes, we will email those registered and post announcements on the website. Conditions are often changing throughout the day and vary widely in our area. We will host classes, if possible, and will often allow make-ups for those who are not able to attend, due to inclement weather. If weather is questionable, please be sure to check the website or call us at the PLEX before you leave for classes and programs.
Notes:
- Tennis shoes are not good on ice - Best to wear boots and change into tennis shoes inside.
- Entrance to Park off Rte. 118 to Adventure Park area (Germantown Park Dr). may not be plowed when snowy and icy- Use
Richter Farm Rd off Rte. 118.
