The Bargaining Team came back to the table to negotiate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shortly after 4:00 a.m. this morning, a conceptual tentative agreement was reached. It took almost two more hours before a final Tentative Agreement was signed by both parties.

 

The Bargaining Team is ready to present a tentative agreement in a year when only salary was being negotiated. Thank you to all of the work of members, the community and our union colleagues in KAP and other unions. A special thanks to the Bargaining Support Team!

The next two years will still be difficult as the District works to maintain their fiscal responsibility, but with these salaries, we hope to be able to continue to attract and retain quality educators!
