Wednesday, November 6:
- Fantastic Preconference line-up, including two new sessions designed to expand workplace skill sets through workshops on improvised comedy.
- Vendor Showcase, 10:30 am - 6:00 pm. The only exhibits of the Charleston Conference, your chance to connect with over 100 companies. Browse the latest products and services, talk with reps, see demos, and snag cool freebies.
- Juried Product Development Forums, 5:00 - 6:15 pm. Invitations will be sent to each registered librarian for their chance to influence the functionality and pricing of new products in development from select companies.

BiblioLabs is proud to present the inaugural Charleston Conference library party: Out of the Stacks! This year, the party will celebrate Charleston's rich music history, headlined by the excellent Jazz Artists of Charleston!
Thursday, November 7:
- Main Conference kicks off at 8:00 am with an exciting plenary session lineup in the Carolina Ballroom of the Francis Marion Hotel, with overflow seating in the Gold Ballroom and Colonial Ballroom close by.
- Concurrent Sessions: We have a diverse, rich group of sessions to choose from this year! These 45 minute sessions are held in multiple locations, so check the program carefully.
- Lively Lunch Discussions: Bring a lunch, or eat during the break after the morning concurrent session, and enjoy a lively discussion of the latest topics.
- Poster Sessions and Networking Happy Hour, Courtyard Marriott Historic District, 6:00 - 6:45 pm
- Annual Charleston Conference Reception, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Tour the Charleston Visitors Center, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and live bluegrass music. Always a good time!
Friday, November 8:
- Another round of bam-zowie plenary sessions, beginning at 8:00 am, followed by more concurrent sessions, lively lunch discussions, and poster sessions.
- NEW! Charleston Neapolitan plenary sessions: three flavors in one! For the first time in 2013, we will offer three plenary-level presentations simultaneously in each of the three main ballrooms of the Francis Marion Hotel: Carolina, Colonial, and Gold. One session will be from 10:30 - 11:15 am, and the second will be 4:30 - 5:30 pm. The sessions will each be recorded and made available for later viewing.
- Friday Night Dine Arounds, 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Get together and dine with colleagues at one of Charleston's finest restaurants. Discuss conference topics that intrigued you, get together with old friends, form new friendships with other librarians, or just relax and enjoy a great meal after a thought provoking conference week. Invitations will be sent to all registered attendees in late September with RSVP information.
