We're excited to announce that Tenth Avenue North is the headline band for this year's Miracles Happen Festival! We have a great musical lineup already booked and are continuing to work on more. We will also have several new activities at the festival this year, including a Blues and Bluegrass music night on Friday, a ferris wheel, and laser tag. You can find more information, including opportunities to volunteer, at mhfest.com. The festival is July 29-31; tickets and lodging can be reserved starting April 4th.
Journey Youth Camps

Registrations are now open for Journey youth camps this summer! Visit our website  for more information and instructions on how to register. There is still plenty of room, but don't miss your chance to register by April 1st in order to receive the early bird discount.

Youth Camp Scholarship Fund

We have set a goal of raising $8,000 for our camp scholarship fund this year. These funds will allow us to reach kids that can't afford to go to camp. We are working with organizations such as Next Chapter Ministries to provide opportunities for inner-city kids to come to camp. You can donate here by indicating that your donation is for the camp scholarship fund.
Hiring Summer Camp Staff

Working on staff at Ironwood is a great opportunity to use the gifts that God has given to you to impact campers for life. We have many job opportunities for 2016 Journey youth camps including Cabin Counselors, Jr. Counselors, Audio/Visual Directors, and Photographer/Videographer.  We are also looking to hire Program Staff Interns that would work for the months of June and July alongside our Summer Program Staff. Primary responsibilities would be to help us plan summer camps while running daily activities.  Apply online  or contact Cathy Jo with questions .
Development Director Hired

We are very pleased to announce that Paul Hemenway is coming on board as our Development Director, which is a new position on staff. As Development Director, Paul will lead all of our fundraising/donation efforts and community relations as we look to improve how we partner with supporters and our community. Paul is looking forward to meeting individually with our donors and is excited to be part of the mission of Ironwood. He has been serving with Intervarsity campus ministries for the last 15 years and just recently finished his work there as the Midwest regional coordinator.
New Equine Director

Kate Krusel has now joined our staff and we are very excited to have her here. Kate comes to us from the mountains of Colorado where she was part of the largest horse ranch in the country. She is already working on some exciting new changes for our horse programs, including adding more scheduled trail riding times and some family picnic rides through Rochester Community Ed. If you get a chance, please stop by to say "hi".
Snow Tubing Record Broken

MinneSNOWta was good to us. Although often long, the winter is filled with many good things including the beauty of winter wonderland at Ironwood. We set an all-time record of 5,600 snow tubers this winter! On President's Day we also had a record turnout of 500 guests for our 22nd A nnual Pancake Supper Benefit. Thank you to all who came out and donated to the Ranch.
National Wheelchair Sports Camp

The National Wheelchair Sports Camp is June 11-16 this year. This has become the largest of its kind in the country. To honor the 30th  anniversary, we will be breaking a record of 400 wheelchairs/scooters moving at one time on June 11th. We need your help in getting the word out for people to sign up at wheelers400.com. On June 12th, we will also be playing the Rolling Timberwolves Basketball Team and a North/South softball game. Find more info here.
Wheelchair Family Camp

We are growing our mission for the physically challenged   this year  by adding a Wheelchair Family Camp from June 18-21.  This is a chance for a special family vacation where the whole family, regardless of ability, can join in the activities and build relationships with others who have a shared experience. You can get more info and register here.

Operation Welcome Home

Our program for military families continues to grow in need and numbers as we have added two new retreats this year. In April and May we have the Military Couples Retreat, the Disabled Veterans Turkey Hunt, and a new Gold Star Family Challenge Weekend. We need your financial support in order to continue providing these retreats free of charge to attendees. You can donate to Operation Welcome Home  here. If you know of military families that could take advantage of the program, please spread the word.

31 Miracle Stories

We have just re-published in pocket form the booklet of 31 miracle stories from the building of the Miracle Lodge. There is one miracle reading for each day of the month. Please let us know if you would like a copy by emailing the office at office@ironwoodsprings.com.
Spring Cleaning

Now that the snow is gone (we hope), there is lots to do for spring cleaning and getting ready for summer. If you would like to help us by volunteering, please call or email Laura in the office at 507-533-4315 or office@ironwoodsprings.com.
Bob's Focus for 2016

My confidence for this year with all of the changes we are making is this verse: "Commit your actions to the Lord and your plans will succeed." Proverbs 16:3

Don't forget to follow my blog, Reflections from the Ranch. I hope these messages can serve to encourage you and strengthen your faith, no matter your situation in life.
