TCA BOARD ELECTS 2018-19 OFFICERS
Members of the Texas Cable Association (TCA) Board of Directors have elected the 2018-2019 Executive Committee and Board of Directors for one-year terms. TCA has been the primary trade organization for cable operators in Texas since 1960.

Officers, serving as TCA’s executive committee, include:
  • Chairman – Jeff Burdett, senior director, state government affairs, Charter Communications, based in Austin.
  • Vice Chairman – Juli Blanda, general manager, Cable One, based in Aransas Pass.
  • Secretary – Thomas Aguillon, director of government affairs, Charter Communications, based in San Antonio.
  • Treasurer – Melinda Little, director of government affairs, Comcast – Houston Region, based in Houston.
  • Members at Large – Todd Baxter, regional vice president – government affairs, Charter Communications, based in Austin, and Leo Muñoz, senior director, government affairs, Comcast – Houston Region, based in Austin.
  • Immediate Past Chairman – Skip Ogle, director of government and public affairs, Altice USA, based in Tyler.
CABLE IN THE COMMUNITY
Altice USA helps “strike out” summer hunger

Altice USA employees located in the Granite Park Campus in Plano participated in a Strike Out Hunger event benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Employees assembled 1,500 snack packs that will be distributed to club members who often go without consistent meals during the summer.
Comcast NBCUniversal awards scholarships to Houston area high school seniors 

Comcast NBCUniversal awarded $69,000 in scholarships for the 2018-19 school year to 65 Houston area students as part of its annual Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship Program. The program, funded by the Comcast Foundation, is a one-time, $1,000 scholarship awarded to the best and brightest high school seniors for their community service, academic performance and leadership skills. Since 2001, more than $28 million has been awarded to nearly 27,000 high school seniors across the country as part of the Leaders and Achievers Program.
