Thank You, Roja!
We are experiencing one of the hottest summers ever, and I can't stop thinking about our wonderful volunteers working hard in this weather. Many are planning for upcoming fundraising events across the country for our end of the summer "Back to School" initiatives, some are attending different summer festivals, others are organizing concerts in the fall or just helping us with our posts on our social media platforms or translating and editing children's files.
We love every one of our volunteers, but I have to say Roja Kia stands out among all of them. Roja has been volunteering for last six month in different refugees camps in Greece, teaching English, Arabic and Persian to children of refugees at different levels. From pre-schoolers to high school students and even young mothers. This is her second tour in Greece, and we feel proud to sponsor her trip and volunteer work to help the most vulnerable group of refugees, children.
She is also helping terrorized children with her art therapy expertise to help them deal with terrifying memories of terrorized pasts.
I want to thank Sara for her dedication and hard work and wish her safe return. If you like to volunteer for child Foundation, please visit our volunteer page here. If you would like to fund the Child Foundation's humanitarian program, then please
