Our Executive Director Dawn Winkler is now part of the Forbes Nonprofit Council.  The council is an invite-only community for top organizations, and top executives in successful nonprofit organizations. Dawn was chosen based on the following;

1. The financial turnaround of the organization under her leadership.
2. The merging of Child Day Care Association and St. Louis 4 Kids, stood out as a strong business decision.
3. Dawn's expertise of merging nonprofits.

Before attending United 4 Children's 24:1 Early Childhood Learning Center, 4 year old Todd faced many challenges. His family was afraid that he would not have the tools necessary to live a successful life.   Todd was at home with his grandparents and younger brother during the day, and he never wanted to leave the house. He didn't want to interact with anyone other than his parents or grandparents.   Todd's parents were struggling with his challenging behavior and developmental delays until they found United 4 Children.  Watch this video to see how your donations are helping Todd and his family.

Please contact your members of the Senate Appropriations Committee and ask that they support HB2. The St. Louis Appropriations Committee Member is listed below. HB2 would fully fund the foundation formula and trigger Pre K funding through the formula in our state. This is a critical first step in securing more quality early childhood for the children who stand to gain the most.
