HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Today is the day that we say a special thank you to all of our Loyal Contributors (individuals who have been donating to United Way for 20+ years). We have over 225 Loyal Contributors and if you are one of them, please stand up and take a bow because your consistent generosity helps us lift up thousands of people every year.

We also want to say a special thank you to those of you who responded to our donor and community surveys last month. We are in the process of gathering and analyzing this feedback in order to take the next steps in our role to solve local issues.

 
 
On January 25 we held a special open house for our Campaign Coordinators. Did you know that we have over 125 Campaign Coordinators who volunteer their time and talents to run their United Way workplace campaigns?

These amazing folks make our work possible and we truly appreciate them and all of their efforts.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN WHATCOM COUNTY!

  • 739 kids gained crucial early learning skills and became prepared for school
  • 2,861 teens increased their academic success, improved their grades, and were put on track to graduate from high school

INCOME: STABLE FAMILIES 

  • 61,831 individuals received skills, food, and necessities to offset their monthly bills and increase financial stability
  • 327 individuals and families achieved safe, stable, and affordable housing

HEALTH: VIBRANT LIFE 

  • 5,414 individuals and families received support to recover from violence or abuse
     
  • 10,264 people achieved healthier lifestyles through exercise, nutrition, and overall better life choices
