Greetings!
This past fall, you were a part of a revolutionary fundraising campaign.
I am proud and grateful to say that we met our goal of distributing 300 Fecal Immunochemical Tests (FIT) and we raised $7,500 for Fight Colorectal Cancer's programs.
A report on how those kits are being used:
Alabama
The Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation (AQAF) chose a Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) for the donated FIT tests. The tests will be used not only to help those in the clinic's underserved, uninsured, lower income population gain access to colorectal cancer screening, but they will also be used to teach the FQHC how to increase screening rates for the future.
The AQAF will teach the FQHC how to meet quality standards, track screening protocols, follow patient compliance, and more. We are hopeful to make this process into a case study - our ultimate goal is to increase screening rates and resources particularly for those who can't typically access screening.
ColoradoThe tests are handed out during office visits at a clinic that serves a medically underserved population in rural Colorado. This clinic has been looking to start a substantial effort to use FIT tests for future screening. This donation of FIT tests allows them to start implementing this new effort.
Thanks to you, Quest Diagnostics, and the success of this effort, we hope to repeat it in the very near future. Thank you once again for your donation.
Sincerely,
