Put Your Blinders On! 4/24/16
Isaiah 30:21 (KJV)
21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
I AWOKE this morning, (I never tire of saying this, I.e, the Artist formally known as Prince).
It is quiet as a mouse here in the early morning darkness as Amanda had a good night of sleep-thus me too!!
I try not to ask too many questions about others lives.
I "TRY" to live by the creed:
"
NOT MY MONKEYS-NOT MY CIRCUS!"
As a born EXHORT-ER, I ALWAYS have an opinion and word of advice for YOU!!
Romans 12:8 (KJV)
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
As a SEE-ER, a WATCHMAN, I see all from the vantage point our God has set me upon, and daily grieve over others choices.
I "SEE" farther up that road you are walking, I "SEE" the end results, and am trained to speak out warnings AND encouragements.
Daily, I am bombarded with disheartening news of others failures and demises, the seemingly unending battles of gentle souls simply wanting to live life in peace and some semblance of prosperity.
As I listened to a loved one describing a senseless battle, I trudged to the bathroom, burdened with their UN-deserved pain.
SUDDENLY, I heard the Gentle Voice of my Savior,
"
PUT YOUR BLINDERS ON!"
BLINDERS-
Blinkers
, sometimes known as
blinders
, are a piece of horse tack that prevent the horse seeing to the rear and, in some cases, to the side.[1]
Sometimes WE all need to "put our BLINDERS on!"
2 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)
12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
WE need to STOP "measuring themselves by themselves, and COMPARING themselves among themselves!!!"
HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD TODAY FOR YOU!!!

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Just because OTHERS failed or died- "BUT it shall not come nigh THEE!"
Recently, when a dear friend was scheduled to undergo open heart surgery, the EXHORT-ER in me cried out to warn him how bad it had been for others I knew.
In fact, one dear brother exclaimed "he had rather die than go through that surgery again!"
I refrained myself from exhorting negatively and my dear friend suffered very little pain!!??
Perhaps the techniques are better now or God.............????????

It was my dear son Joshua who called my attention to the quarterback in a recent SUPERBOWL game.
In the Pre-game warm-up, he was spotted with a heavy set of EARPHONES on.
The crowd of 100,000 plus were yelling and screaming at him-both positively and negatively-yet he HEARD not!
Thousands of cameras were recording his every move, yet he CHOSE to SEE NOT!!
It mattered not what others had said or done, victory or failure!!
This was NOW his race!
The OUTCOME was NOW simply his and the talent and ability ALONE that God had enabled him with!
