Now Offering Motorman Training

OCS Group is now offering Motorman Training Introduction, which will review "Motorman" responsibilities and provide a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. During the training, the students will get a basic overview of the theory behind all three disciplines as well as hands-on instruction.

In the recent article published by RIGZONE, "Black Elk Incident Reminder of Dangers of Hazardous Vapors," OCS Group's General Manager, Tony Scott, discuss the role hazardous vapors played in the 2012 explosion at a Black Elk Energy-operated platform. He also notes that basic training in Hazardous Area Zones may have prevented the worker fatalities, and to address this shortfall in training, OCS Group offers CompEx Ex01-04, CompEx Mechanical, Hazardous Area Electrical Training.
