Wow, the weather up north has become blustery from the Chicago to New York and down through the Carolina's. Nobody is escaping this winter. Here in paradise, our temperatures have plummeted to the mid 60's, cold for us full time residents, but not so, for our hearty mid-west residents who are still wearing shorts and golf shirts. For them, this is balmy! But, unlike up north, our weather, cold only to us, will not stay cold for long. Our temps are already back into the 70's during the day, just like you would expect. Pity those northerners and be grateful for what we have.

Friday evening was Happy Hour at the Bistro. The weather was beautiful, making it a magnificent evening. Everyone sat around our pool, enjoying the music and laughter, and of course, the food and half priced drinks. More than 225 members and guests attended.

Sunday was Football at Styr. The two game event was great for those Steeler fans as well as those Packer backers. The 1:00 Steeler-Dolphin game was never much of a game at all to the delight of a rather raucous Pittsburg fan base. The 4:30 Giant-Packer game started out on a high note for us New Yorker's, hoping for a big win, but turned into a disappointing and heartbreaking season ending defeat. Next week's games, hopefully, should be better. We have only 3 more weekends of football left this season. Let's look forward to the Super Bowl Party at Addison Reserve's Clubhouse on February 5th.
On Monday, the Ladies club of Addison Reserve hosted Member Guest Card & Luncheon Party for over 200 participants. An elaborate buffet luncheon was enjoyed by all the women followed by an afternoon of cards and games of all types. The theme was the Hamptons, as you can tell by some of the deserts in the last picture. This is always a fun event for our ladies.
Pickleball is becoming more & more popular at Addison Reserve. We need more courts! On Wednesday we had 3 full courts in action, but unfortunately we had to give up one of our courts to Herb Kaufman who wanted to practice hitting tennis balls.

The Breslow's are joined by Patti & Horace Cohen, also Sedona residents. Oddly enough, there doesn't seem to be much grass in Peru.

Judy is off the wagon, she is eating all the junk food she can get her little hands on, but all is great!
The Cohen's and the Breslow's are traveling from South America to Miami and everyone is having a great time of it. They have included a special picture for Simmy Gold, it seems that he has a thriving business in Chile.
