Happy Mother's Day again to all our mommy's out there. Addison was a buzz all weekend with our focus on Sunday, Mother's Day. Friday evening at Styr, families and friends gathered to celebrate a pre Mother's Day, honoring their most precious matriarch of the family. The room was filled with laughter and joy and a lot of toasting. What a truly wonderful evening it was.
Saturday evening our dining room, Taste, was busy with members and their families enjoying a lovely meal. The presentation was beautiful and in addition, there were special take home desserts for our guests. Background music was provided by a very talented duet.
Sunday, Mother's Day, started with an elaborate brunch that served over 375 members, their families and guests. The evening ended with an elaborate dinner that fed over 200 members as well. What a busy day and evening for our staff, but they pulled it off without a hitch. All our ladies left with a gift and a smile. Who could ask for anything more!
Summer may be upon us, but our sporting calendars continue to be busy. Our Men's Emerald League play is in full swing every Thursday morning. We play home or away every week and our men have a blast and win more often than not. Our tennis program continues to grow with professionally assisted group lessons every week. Don't forget our mixer tennis event every Thursday evening at 6:00, tennis, food and wine, all for $10.00. Our pickle ball courts are busy every Monday, Wednesday & Friday, as well as Saturday & Sunday. Don't forget our water aerobics classes, held every morning, 7 days a week. Come on down, cool off in the water while you get some real exercise in our pool. What a great way to start your day.
For us year-rounders, the fun has just begun. The roadways are almost empty, the
restaurants have no long wait times and offering discounts as well, and now all the reciprocity has begun!
