Meanwhile, this past week was just another great week for all of us Addison Reserve residents. The weather has been hot & humid and the rains, while threatening over & over again, really weren't nearly as bad as in the past few weeks. Golf, tennis & pickleball were active every single morning and our water aerobics was especially busy, not surprising with our temperatures in the 90's. With the temperatures being what they are in Florida during the summer, our card rooms remain very active. Both the ladies and men's card rooms are open 7 days a week with players having organized games from Monday through Saturday. If anybody wants to join, there is always a spot somewhere in a game to enjoy an afternoon playing and talking with fellow members and staying cool. Remember, at 2:00 every afternoon, our staff brings in fruit and crudités for our membership to enjoy. Remember, coffee, drinks and candy are always available to all. Not a bad way to while away the afternoon being cool & comfortable.

Friday evening was again Styr at its best. The room was overflowing with members and guest and quite a few reciprocals from Broken Sound, Polo Country Club & Delaire Country Club. The buzz around Styr that evening was mostly about how friendly our membership is to all guests who visit and also how our hors d'oeuvres, which we take for granted, are more diverse and plentiful than other country clubs on similar evenings. The music was a young twosome of very talented men who played great music from the 60's, 70's & 80's. Every song was nostalgic and easy to dance to. A wonderful evening as always!

Saturday night at Addison Reserve was another great night!
Service was wonderful, as always, and the food was superb. The S
almon Superbowl
was so delicious and healthy, the crab cakes were also enjoyed tremendously, and let's not forget the pasta in clam sauce. Everything was great!

A NEW FEATURE AT ADDISON RESERVE!
This new attraction not only lets you know what is going on here at Addison, but if your phone battery is running low, it also becomes a charging station. You can find these super electronics every few feet around the bar at Styr. Wow is that clever!

THE NEW: "BUZZ'S BIG BRAG BOX"
Marcia & Nolan Berman are very proud of their granddaughter, Sarah Ponczek, who is now on TV regularly.
She is a Cross Asset Advisor on Bloomberg News every day at different times as well as multiple times. For those with Comcast, it's Channel 103 from 6-7 pm and will soon head a weekly podcast (Bloomberg) soon. She is really an amazing young lady who just turned 23 a few weeks ago! Wow! Impressive!

As for our Addison Reserve real estate update, we now have 34 homes on the market for sale. Our prices range from $419,000-$3,500,000. There are 26 homes with golf and 8 homes with sports memberships of which 13 are estate homes and 21 are zero lot line homes. This week there were no new listings placed onto the market, however there were 2 closings. The first was 7294 Sarimento Place. This recently updated home featured a brand new, state of the art kitchen, highly polished marble flooring, a full 3 car garage, 3 bedrooms, plus an office, golf membership and asking $899,000. The home sold for $800,000 and we brought the buyers. Also this past week there was another closing on Porto Vecchio Place. This 5 bedroom, plus office, courtyard home with a golf membership was asking $1,349,000, and sold for $1,270,000.
As always, the week of our vacation, always gets extra busy, go figure! We had an unusual amount of showings this past week. It almost feels like we are not in the off season for our real estate market, but supposedly we are. Well, the showings will continue with our assistant, Penny Marks.
